2024 Jager Jiu Jitsu Gi & No Gi Asian Open Championships

After the success of the 1st Jager Manila International Open BJJFP and Jager one of the largest organizers of competitions in Korea have decided to make the Jager Asian Open in the Manila Philippines. In the spirit of cooperation  we are wish to bring  competitors together to create a larger competition circuit in the Asian region.  We look forward to building this relationship with the athletes of all  countries in the region and beyond.

In line with growing the sport at the grassroots level  we have created separate children's divisions and weight classes for under the age of 6 ,9, 12 to under 15 years.Teens 15-U17 and standard Juvenile / Adult / Masters divisions , Male up to Masters 5 Female Masters 3.

In addition to the standard IBJJF competition format we will have a Team event for Black or Brown Belts weight classes weio be decided on the day. The team with the most wins will be the Team Champions. 

DATE  SATURDAY  July  20, 9.00 am                                                                                                       · All Gi and No GiDivisions starting with Children matches then Juniors , Masters , Female and Male matches .

Please check the final bracket schedule on the Friday before the event for your match time please be at the venue one hour before your match.

COMPETITION FORMAT :  , Gi competition. with start with Children's divisions after all the Gi divisions we will continue with No Gi as soon as the  Gi absolute division have finished a more detailed schedule will be given after registrations have closed.

REGISTRATION DETAILS : 

ALL COMPETITORS MUST CREATE THIER OWN PROFILE AND REGISTER ON SMOOTHCOMP . 

Please Note ; Team Registration . A compulsory field has been set up so athletes must select the Team name on the list . If your Team is not listed please advise it will be added to the group. This is to avoid registrations under multiple names that are in the same team.

DISCOUNT :  Gi and No Gi , register at the same time for the discount.

·  Early Bird : P1995  Discount for No Gi  P1000 for No Gi  - Absolute P600

· Normal  16 Jun - 14 Jul  P2250 discount for No Gi  P800 No Gi  - Absolute P650. 

· Late registration  Monday July 15  up to : Wednesday  July 17 : Midnight  P2500 discounts P700 for No Gi  - Absolute P700

PROVISIONAL BRACKETS and MAT SCHEDULE: Released  Monday before the competition

CORRECTION DEADLINE : Up to Midnight Wednesday before the competition you can change your entry on Smoothcomp anytime up to the deadline .

REGISTRATION PROBLEMS: To check your registration we will require the email address used, the name registered, competition name , belt , weight , Division ie adults / Masters 1.

COMPETITOR INFORMATION:

- Children's  Belts  All kids are registered as white belts under their weight class , when creating a profile enter White belt . Male and Female divisions for Children available 

- Adults all Belt levels , Juvenile White and Blue Male and Female ,, Masters Male and Female 1 -4. 

- IBJJF Rules apply Weigh in before your 1st match on the same day- All Competitors be at the venue at least one hour prior to the match schedule. Masters , Juniors and children competitors please bring an ID with date or birth details.

- IBJJF Rules update : Note Black and Brown belts Gi turning inside is now legal with straight footlocks . Reaping is still illegal.

-  Competitor Attire : No Gi Competitors Black Shorts , Rash Guard no Fitted Tshirts  with 10% of the competitors belt colour. Gi competitors White , Black and Blue Gis only  IBJJ. F rules apply for patches and length of Gis , belts to be in good condition . 

-  All Competitor must create their own Smoothcomp account using their email address including Team Entries that are making direct deposits. From this account they can see the brackets match schedule and edit or make changes to their entry.  Any payments  not made online through smooth comp please send proof of payment  and registration details to [email protected] for approval.

Eligibility : Amateur MMA Fighter can compete as White belts except in the Novice comp, Judo Black Belts National Team Wrestlers and Professional MMA Fighters must compete as Blue belts

SINGLE ENTRIES : can go to the Podium anytime during the day to receive their medal or be moved to the Absolute Division .
